Chapter 4 Harsh truth

'You have to leave? So soon?''Komanen asked as tears almost fall from his eyes.

''I'm sorry i have to.''Yeomi frowns.

''But....why so soon, you just got here." Komanen frowns.

''I don't stay in places long, people get sick of me quickly. 'She explains turning away.

''P-p-please?'' Komanen asks. 'Could i maybe....come with you?'' Amazement ripples throw his eyes as he realizes what he just said.

''D-Do you...really wish to stay with me?'' Yeomi asks doubt running over her mind.

''yes, yes i really do.'' Komanen half smiles.

''Im sorry Komanen, I don't think I'd be able to be with you that long.'' Yeomi explains.

''W-why? Don't you like me around.'' Komanens face turns into sadness as he is aware of what she'll probably say. Yeomi knows what she has to do to protect herself....and the boy she has feelings for.

''N-n-no, I don't want you around! Leave me alone, go away Komanen.'' She yells knowing the only way to save him, is to hurt him. Komanens eyes light up with....not hurt....but dedication.

''You can't tell me what to do! You're not my leader, and I shall accompany you on think journey weather you like it or not, i don't really give a damn, I'm coming with.'' Komanen snaps, his face red with fury. Yeomi's eyes go wide as she accepts the fact that Komanen may actually, want to be with her.

"Fine.'' She frowns walking away. Komanen close behind.

-----In the woods-----

Yeomi walks quietly; things are getting more awkward as Komanen, joined in her journey. She's looking around for a hot spring.

''Komanen, if you see a hot spring, tell me.'' Komanen loots at her, with confusion in his eyes.

''Alright.'' Komanen pauses.

'''what's wrong?''Yeomi asks.

''nothing, ''Komanen lies. 'a hot spring sounds nice.'' As they walk on Komanen realizes



something, that....if there's a hot spring....and......Yeomi...He looks over at the woman he's come to know, maybe even love. Her hair, almost dancing behind her. Her steps, so agile and graceful as she steps over dead leaves and branches. -how's beautiful this woman is- he thinks to himself. Maybe, just maybe... she....just might....like him too?

Yeomi sneaks a peek over at her travel partner.... And seeing him looking at her, and the strangest feeling spreads over her. Her face turn bright bright red, and she turns away -why him? why did i let him come with- she kicks herself mentally, -I'm so stupid, now i might.........no that's not possible.....or is it? Maybe I do.....just a little, NO stop it don't.....- her mind drifts off. She feels warm brush her face. The warm, sweet air feels great on her skin. as they walk Komanen feels sudden warmth on his skin, and he knows there's a hot spring close by, and he can tell Yeomi notices it to, since she starts unbuttoning her top, down to a fine laces, tank top, they get to the water's edge, as Yeomi unbuttons her shorts, Komanen looks away, not wanting to stair. He soon hears a light splash in the nearby water. He turns to see Yeomi, hair quickly tied back, sitting in the water, the top of the current barely covering her gentle body.

''You can come in if you'd like, I don't bite.'' Yeomi sighs, eyes closed.

''Uhhhh...okay.'' Komanen says undressing, as he does Yeomi slightly opens her eyes to see a naked Komanen settling into the water, she feels her face turn a gentle red as she notices what she's seen. ~Stop this ridiculous blushing, he's just another boy, another idiot who WILL hurt you......but he is really attractive, another voice says, Yeomi slightly shakers her head to get rid of this unwanted thought. Komanen, looks over at Yeomi, as he sits, hoping she didn't see his pail body. He has muscle and all, he's just pail.

Yeomi wishes she wouldn't have looked, but out of the corner of her eye, she does, and as she sees the small pail by man she blushes lightly, ducking her head back in the water to ignore the face he gives her when she emerges. she runs her fingers throw her know soaked hair, looking over at her now seated partner, she wonders if he feels as odd as she does, laying here with him. With that thought, something pops into her head that she wishes hadent, a sudden wave of red flushes over her, making her face as red as she feels now. She knkows she can not act on this feeling, for that has gotte so many others into trouble over the years. she closes her eyes, trying to make her mind shift from this unconfortable image. She suddenyl feels the water shift, she looks up to see her new partner swimming towards her, quietly.
"what are you doing?" She asks softly pretending she had just waking up.
"hush. theres a bor behind you." he tells her, slowly reaching for his knife on the bank of the water, getting closer to her, pretending that he wasent paying no mind to it, he quickly throws the knife, peairing the large and angry creather in the chest, as he does it falls to the ground in a large bundeled heap. Yeomi looks suprised at him.
"Supper?" he asks her, wondering if eating a crearue killed by his hand may not suit her.
"yeah, sure" she says.
